My name is Douglas Forrest. I am 61 years old and have been writing for many years. I am semi-retired having been a teacher for about 30 years. I now work part time at a local leisure centre. I have a wide range of interests including education, classic cars, religion, politics, travel, Shetland, literature and drama. I am currently writing the biography of a WW2 veteran. He was non commissioned but met many VIP's including Churchill and the King.
